Be transported into a magical realm of sleigh bells, sugar, spice and all things nice. Christmas is near, and bringing us the Christmas cheer, is Tori Martin, with her holiday release, “Santa Wrote Me a Letter”.
A sexy and soulful Christmas song, with a dash of rhythm and blues nostalgia, propelled along with a relentless retro piano. It’s jolly, fun, and set to be a Christmas hit!
Our Christmas tale is imparted with wonderfully witty lyrics such as; “take back the sweater, you left in place of a guy, return to sender, to the big north pole in the sky” performed with impressive rhythmical phrasing by Tori.
Santa is clearly on the naughty list this year for that little mishap.
Adding to the delightful nostalgic charm are 60s’ style girl group backing singers, delivering sweet harmonies with plenty of “ooh’s” and “aw’s”, enticing you to sing-a-long with them.
Tori charms listeners with her sparkling performance, powerhouse vocals, and passionate delivery. She is sure to enchant any listener, embracing us with that cheerful Christmas spirit.
Tori is a Nashville based singer and songwriter who grew up as a military brat, moving from state to state until settling in Texas, where she first began singing in her local church choir.
By the age of 14, she was performing in Opry Houses all over Texas and in 2017 she followed her dream to Nashville, determined to make a name for herself.
She quickly became known for her dynamic vocals and very soon she was collaborating with some of the great songsmiths of Nashville.
She joined with two of her favourite songsmiths, Kirsti Manna and Bill DiLuigi to co-write “Santa Wrote Me a Letter”.
Inspired by icon’s such as Dolly Parton and Tammy Wynette, Tori Martin is set for big things.
If you enjoy music from artists such as Maren Morris and Carrie Underwood, then Tori Martin will fit perfectly on your playlist.
