Daniel Diaz is a hip-hop artist from Rhode Island, NYC. As I listen to his song “Never Tradable”, it is immediately clear that his words come from the heart, with a raw and passionate performance.

Diaz is also known as “Real” because he always speaks the truth. He has a gift for storytelling, with a golden voice and clear, intelligible words which immediately absorb me in his performance.

He creates a warm and inviting atmosphere through his soulful and poetic delivery, which makes me feel like I’m listening to an old friend.

I enjoy his inspirational lyrics, such as; “I dug deep and my soul was never tradable”.

Diaz uses his vocal ability well, and I enjoy the stylish and memorable rhythm he creates with his poetic wordplay, which I find myself humming and nodding my head to hours after I’ve heard it.

I adore the seductive female backing vocals which appear intermittently throughout the track and add an alluring appeal to the song.

This is a song of hope and encouragement, it was written by Diaz about the difficulties we face in life, but no matter the hardships, we must always stay true to ourselves, to our souls, because that is “never tradable”.

Diazs’ interest in music was sparked at a young age by his Mother’s love for merengue and salsa music. He had a broad musical education from living in both the States and the Dominican Republic, which greatly influenced his style and development as an artist.

By the age of twelve, he was writing his own lyrics and his love and passion for music, and connecting with people through music, has only grown since those early years.

His hope is to connect with his listeners, enhance the lives of others and help those in need of guidance through his music.

If you enjoy artists such as Evidence and Black Thought, then Daniel Diaz will fit perfectly on your playlist.

  1. Excellent read, I just passed this onto a friend who was doing a little research on that. And he just bought me lunch as I found it for him smile Thus let me rephrase that: Thank you for lunch!
